Three boys, a dog and a stay-at-home mom...delicious hilarity ensues, right?!?

Spring Fever!

The weather's been in the 70's these past two days and spring fever has hit HARD in this happy household.  After spending four hours cleaning the house from top to bottom with the windows thrown way open and the ceiling fans on high, this energized mommy took her wee ones to the park.  (So okay, maybe not from top to bottom but definitely both bathrooms and the floors . . . two jobs which just suck the life out of me even thinking about . . . ~shudder~).

We loaded up the double Bob with drinks, toys, diggers, blankets and babies and headed out to enjoy the gloriously warm sun and fresh air.  It was strange to walk by piles of snow leftover from just a few weeks ago!  The big boy found himself a very nice walking stick and led the way down the hill and around the corner to sandbox heaven where he smoothed and dug and hauled to his heart's content.

And the little guy discovered grass and dirt for the first time in his short life (and he was VERY intrigued).

They had a blast on the swings too!  Sam wouldn't smile for any pictures though, only implored me to keep pushing him higher and higher.  So I only have one of this cutie.  First time in the big boy swings.  He loved it!  One day he'll be big enough to sit up in it (and not gnaw on it . . . ~double shudder~)!

Here's my swinging monkeys in action:

And here's more of the baby cuteness in dirt for the first time!

Gotta run and enjoy the rest of the day before the cold weather returns tomorrow!  (I think the hubs is *mowing* our lawn!!!  *GASP!*)

Spreading The Love

To all of our Grannies, Grandpas, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Puppies, Kitties and other family members . . . Happy Valentine's Day!

I wish you could be here to get kisses and hugs from these cuties!  For now a picture, just for you, from these two darling Valentines:

~  I *may* have had to turn off the tv and threaten to leave it off unless the big one acted like he loved the little one . . .   ~

And happy 7 month birthday to our littlest man!  I can't believe how quickly time is flying by and how big you're getting!  Before you know it you'll be getting into as much trouble as your big brother and I kinda can't wait!

I'm keeping this short so I can get back to snuggling with these two.  Wishing you a snuggly, love-filled day too!!

~ Made with love by Sam and Mommy . . . there should've been enough crayon for SOOO many more, but some little artist I know prefers to use handfuls instead of sprinkles, and they're all the better for it!  ~

~ Yeah, those are our Christmas lights . . . so?  They're just too pretty to put away yet!  ~

How We Spent Superbowl . . .

Ugh.  Is it really only the third quarter?!!

Yeah, that pretty much sums up how we spent our Superbowl Sunday this year.  Couldn't care less about either team or one more game of football on a Sunday night!  But the boys were super cute (as ALWAYS) so I took some action shots for all the grannies, grampas, uncles and aunts to enjoy.

Mr. Max is working on his two top teeth which will hopefully make their debut any day now.   He spent a good part of the evening gnawing on Daddy's fingers:

~ nom nom nom ~

I made the hubster smile for the camera too.  As much as he whined about it it's a pretty cute picture!

~ notice the naughty furry child in the shadowy background ~

That's Rosie . . . snoring away on her blanket on the couch.  Such an old lady dog for only a year and a half old!

~ Wake me when it's over! ~

And the ever-cute Sammer Jam was captivated by the VW Darth Vader commercial.  He kept reminding us over and over that "Dar Lader" was on the tv.  Then, not to be outdone, he disappeared down in the basement and came back up with . . .
~ serious Storm-Trooper guy ~

~ lots of important Storm-Trooper business to attend to ~

~ can't forget G-Raf though ~

Volkswagon, what's up?  Sam James would have made the best and most serious Darth Vader ever!!

Ah well.  It's been a relaxing weekend hanging out with the boys.  Now if only this game would end!

G'night!
